Bliar

Perhaps someone can help me out….

Why are people in this country so squeamish about using the word liar?

Are any of the following somehow more acceptable?

cheat, con artist, con man, deceiver, deluder, dissimulator, equivocator, fabler, fabricator, fabulist, false witness, falsifier, fibber, maligner, misleader, perjurer, promoter, storyteller, trickster

If the shoe fits, wear it.

It further baffles me how some people insist that although they might consider Bliar to have been ‘economical with la verite’ they somehow insist that he ‘genuinely believes’ whatever it is he’s lying about. Bless them. It’s so much simpler than that: he lies for advantage – in his case political. It’s as old as the hills. Why in heaven’s name are folk determined to try to put the best face on this when the basest reasons are the most obvious?

By Christ I’ve been spitting blood all day from the moment I hear that insipid cunt Straw try to convince the world that shit smells nice on the Today programme to watching that lying bitch Hewitt tell me that black is actually just a mildly darker shade of white on C4 news. It really is unbelievable.
I’d really like to slit their throats with a rusty breadknife.

I feel a SERIOUS rant coming on.

Democrashit – you’re living in it.

meanness

Yesterday I discovered a full skip about two hundred yards up the road from me which contained, among tons of other crap and rubble, quite a few Victorian bricks thrown in. Now it rained last night and the result was a skip full of muddy plaster and assorted other wet rubble.

So I went back this afternoon with a wheelie bin (which incidentally I had found on another skip and not owning a car have obvious use for) and filled it up with bricks which I plan to use to build raise beds in my back garden – a perfect marriage of opportunity and recycling you would have thought but oh no! I went back with the bin after unloading my first bounty and stacking them only to discover that the mean cunt whose skip it no doubt is had waited until I left (obviously wishing to avoid a confrontation) and then in the space of ten minutes covered the bugger up with a tarpaulin. He would rather have those bricks (which are worth about a quid each) go to landfill than let me or anybody else reclaim them. I think a brick through his lounge room window might be appropriate.

However, it occurs to me that I might just go back and remove a corner of the tarpaulin and continue to help myself. It’s on a public street and has clearly been discarded – to whom does it now belong? There’s no question that these bricks are going to be later reclaimed as they are so mixed in with dirt, rubble, plaster and crap so even the company hired to dispose of the skip’s contents wouldn’t bother sorting them and we’re only talking about maybe 70 bricks that i could see.

The meanness of people never ceases to amaze.

Jenny’s 2000 Youth Squirrel Hunt

www.texaspineywoods.com/Hunting/200009JennyYouthSquirrelHunt0.htm

“A few years ago, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department started a program where they open up certain hunting seasons a week early for the youth of the state.”
[snip]
“More youths participating in the wholesome activity of hunting will have less reason to find themselves involved is less wholesome activities in their teenage years.”

Now somebody tell me again what the word wholesome meant. I seem to have used it incorrectly ever since learning it at school…
