A large number of people suddenly hitting my website brought:

website surfing like never before.

FYI,
I would seriously advise that you NOT purchase anything from Maplins.
I just had to return an alleged PCIe gfx card which was sold to me as
a PCI card.
I was told I had broken the static seal and therefore it had to be
returned to the factory and I would have a refund within 14 days.
The bag in the box I bought HAD NO fucking seal and the dude in the
store didn’t hesitate to put his mitts on the bloody thing.
Consequently I was forced to leave the place (after some sharp words)
without the card and without the £45.
I now have proof of purchase in the form of one of the worst
photocopies I have ever seen and the vague promise of a refund at
some point in the future.
Craplins!

Radio Four are looking for nominations of laws that should be repealed
for a discussion on radio 4 in the new year. This would be a good
opportunity to nominate the repeal of the identity card act 2006. And
get some more publicity for the campaign against ID cards.
Just follow the link below to nominate the Identity Card Act 2006 to
be scrapped.
