Unless you were a Commodore kid I suppose, in which case I’m going to
laugh mercilessly at your lack of widgets. BWahahaha! That was me.
Laughing Mercilessly. At you.

i know that some of the denizens of the caves of labhumour have been known
to have an interest in stencils and/or seditionary garment abuse – so you
may find this tutorial on how to bleach stencils onto t-shirts of interest:

Fake Steve’s comments on the recent Glasgow Apple store have been
rather amusing for all sorts of reasons. In time order:

I suspect the hard-core Weegie Apple Fan will be in a dilemma about
whether to kiss him Glasgae style, or hug him, if ever the Fake One
appears over here.
Popped along to the store myself on Saturday. Very busy, and very
impressed (was inevitable really, plus anything’s got to be better
than The Pier). iPhoto 08 is superb. Still not sure about the new
keyboard though.

i must admit i’m seriously thinking of getting the fuck out of facebook.
quite aside from the obvious privacy issues surrounding ‘normal’ usage
of user behavioural data, there’s a more sinister side, exposed
succinctly in the following video:
albumoftheday.com/facebook/
obviously, i’d *love* to be on the other side mining all that lovely
data,
but do i really want to blindly volunteer it myself – i’m not so sure…
Brace yourselves. Truly disturbing:

I know Banksy’s popular with many on the list, so folk might be
interested in an exhibition on in London at the mo:

I’ve a bit of a soft spot for US hospital and crime drama. Great
diversionary stuff that’s great for getting far far away from the day
job. Goodness knows even the worst episodes the US put out are
leagues better than ‘Casualty’ or ‘The Bill’.
Anyway, I’m *particularly* fond of ‘House’, not least for the fact
that I still laugh when Hugh Laurie comes on screen, expecting some
joshing with Stephen Fry and jokes about (please, ensure you do ‘The
Fingers’ when you get to the quotes) “Quantity Surveying”. Mmm. Is
that a ‘Quantity’ there for me to survey Hugh? etc.
*anyway*, House is good for all manner of reasons other than Hugh
Laurie, not least that it takes no prisoners, has sharp and
provocative writing
But one thing I’ve often wondered is how good is the medicine. So
anyway, here you go, somebody is rating that very part of it. If
you’re in the UK, last night (9th Aug) was ‘Family’, Episode 21 of
Season 3.

And don’t get me started on how good Family Guy is either… Oh, you
did…
